On May 1st, the artist collective Sandkasten Syndikat hijacked FLUCC Vienna (the ‚cultural steamboat‘ at Praterstern) and sent out an emergency signal to allied cultural workers: MAYDAY! Together with local actors from Mz* Baltazar’s Laboratory, Kollektiv Raumstation, RAD Performance and friends, we searched for critical-creative answers to precarious living and working conditions.
